Shelly Wall Display X1i Black is an in-wall smart home control panel with a 4-inch, 720 × 720 pixel touchscreen, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and a replaceable Power Base module. Shelly devices, rooms, and scenes can be controlled directly from the display, while the status and energy consumption data of compatible devices can also be shown. The relay output of the Power Base can also be controlled directly from the panel.

The X1i is part of the new Wall Display i-series generation. It is equipped with a quad-core 1.5 GHz Rockchip RK3326-S processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of storage, and runs Android 11. Compared with the previous Wall Display, new features include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, more powerful hardware, 8 GB of storage, a replaceable Power Base, and a proximity sensor. The device also includes an ambient light sensor, microphone, and 1 W speaker.

The included 1-Output Power Base has one relay output rated for 5 A and one input for an external switch or push button. The Power Base is replaceable: using the separately available Shelly 2-Output Power Base allows two independent circuits to be switched. The X1i can therefore be used both as a central control interface and as a relay controller installed in place of a conventional wall switch.
