The SONOFF BASIC-1GSP is a DIN rail-mounted smart relay with Matter-over-Wi-Fi support, designed for smart control and energy monitoring of high-power electrical loads. It can switch up to 32A and 7680W, making it ideal for electric heating, boilers, heat pumps, high-power lighting systems, and other energy-intensive devices.
The built-in power metering function allows real-time monitoring of energy consumption, voltage, current, and power. The eWeLink app provides detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and up to 180-day consumption and cost reports, which can also be exported. Automations can be created based on energy usage, allowing the system to automatically switch off devices that are running unnecessarily or send notifications in case of abnormal consumption.
Thanks to Matter support, the relay can be directly integrated into Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and other Matter-compatible systems. Local LAN control, cloud-based access, detailed automation options, and advanced protection functions make it suitable for both home and professional use.
The device also supports charging protection, which automatically turns off chargers or battery-powered devices when they no longer draw significant power. Adjustable current, voltage, and power thresholds allow the system to automatically cut power in case of overload, increasing safety and protecting connected equipment. In case of an internet outage, proximity control keeps the device controllable via Bluetooth, provided the phone has mobile internet access.
