The SONOFF Orb-ZBW1L is the Fusion series Zigbee 3.0 no-neutral smart wall switch, with the ZBMini-L2 inside taking care of operation. It handles up to 6 A load and allows setting schedules, countdowns, and smart scenes. It is specifically optimized for low-power LED loads (min. 3 W), offering an easy retrofit solution for older wall boxes without a flicker-suppression module. The switch can be used both within the SONOFF ecosystem and on open platforms: Zigbee pairing is simple, and it is compatible with Home Assistant (ZHA/Zigbee2MQTT). The external wall switch (on the S1/S2 inputs) preserves familiar manual control while automation via Zigbee also works.
The ZBMini-L2 is compatible, among others, with Sonoff Zigbee–Wi-Fi gateways, the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge and Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro, as well as the SmartWise Zigbee Bridge Pro (also compatible with the eWeLink app), which can connect to Ethernet. It is also supported by the Sonoff NSPanel Pro hub. If the module is connected to an eWeLink Zigbee gateway, the device can then be controlled using the familiar eWeLink platform and eWeLink app. Among the usual eWeLink features, the current ON/OFF state, manual ON/OFF switching, and timers (schedule, countdown timer, loop control) are available, but the inching (momentary) function is not available. The small relay module is compatible with the Aeotec SmartThings hub, in which case it can be controlled using the SmartThings APP available for iOS and Android. Controlled on/off switching, scheduled on/off, and many other features are available in the SmartThings app. It also works with certain Amazon Alexa Zigbee gateways and other standard Zigbee 3.0 hubs. The ZBMINI-L2 version is the no-neutral variant of the relay, which operates only with a phase wire. The ZBMINI-L2 relay should be installed behind the wall switch and is suitable for switching lamps with a minimum power of 3 W, with a maximum rating of 6 A. No flicker-suppression module is required for operation.
