The Gledopto Elite 2D-EXMU Advanced WLED Controller (GL-C-616WL) is an ESP32-based digital LED controller supplied with pre-installed WLED firmware, designed for controlling addressable digital LED strips and LED modules such as WS2811, WS2812B, WS2813, WS2815, SK6812, UCS2903B, SM16703, and other compatible LED ICs. The controller features two independent LED data output channels, allowing two separate lighting zones or LED strips to be controlled independently.
The integrated digital microphone enables WLED Audio Reactive effects, allowing the lighting to dynamically respond to ambient sounds or music. A built-in relay physically disconnects power from the connected LED strips when switched off, reducing standby power consumption. Please note that the relay is intended only for disconnecting the LED load and is not suitable for switching the LED power supply.
The Gledopto Elite 2D-EXMU Advanced WLED Controller (GL-C-616WL) is the Ethernet-enabled version of the GL-C-615WL. As part of the Elite product family, it features a redesigned printed circuit board, a replaceable fuse, factory-configured WLED firmware, and a dedicated GPIO expansion port for custom developments. The integrated RJ45 Ethernet connection provides a highly stable, low-latency network connection, making it particularly suitable for large LED installations, professional lighting control systems, and applications where network stability and minimal latency are essential.
The controller operates with full functionality even without an internet connection, with all WLED features available entirely over the local network. It is particularly recommended for users of Home Assistant, Node-RED, MQTT, and other open-source automation platforms. As a DIY-oriented product, it is primarily intended for technically experienced users, with most technical support available through the WLED community documentation and forums.
