The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro is a versatile device that functions as a flood sensor, leak sensor, and safety sensor all in one. It provides leak detection, helping to prevent expensive bills and costly damage by monitoring for the presence and absence of water. When used to monitor tanks or pits, the sensor can alert you when water levels get too low and trigger automation routines to prevent issues.
Leak protection
The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro doesn’t just detect leaks. When connected to your Z-Wave automation system, it can take protective actions to limit damage from drips, leaks, or pipe bursts. For example, in the event of a pipe burst, the smart device can instruct smart water valves, including those installed on the mains pipe, to automatically close.
Heating management
The Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro monitors your room's temperature, allowing it to control and manage connected heating or cooling systems.
Air quality management
Along with ambient temperature monitoring, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 Pro measures your room's relative humidity. With real-time humidity monitoring, it can automatically manage a room's air quality by activating extractor fans, humidifiers, or dehumidifiers as needed.
