The Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 features Z-Wave Plus V2, S2 wireless security, and SmartStart installation. It offers up to 2 years of battery life, double that of older models. Changing the battery is simple—just lift the sensor out of the door frame, swap the battery, and slot it back into place.
The sensor provides real-time status, allowing you to monitor when a door is opened or closed. It can trigger smart automation scenes or routines whenever the door is opened or closed, and it's compatible with Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus gateways.
