Aeotec Pico Switch: Smart relay module with Zigbee 3.0
The Aeotec Pico Switch is a smart relay module that communicates via the Zigbee 3.0 protocol, featuring a single relay output with a 16A current capacity. Additionally, it acts as a Zigbee repeater, extending signals from devices further away from the central hub. It is compatible with wall switches and push buttons, and includes a power metering function for monitoring energy consumption of connected devices.
The Pico series offers flush or junction box mounting, allowing seamless integration into new or existing properties. It can be used to control household appliances, lighting circuits, or sockets and offers compatibility with platforms such as SmartThings. This enables both real-time control and energy management from anywhere.
eWeLink Zigbee Bridge Compatibility
The Aeotec Pico can be paired with the eWeLink platform via the SmartWise Zigbee Bridge Pro but is not compatible with the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro (ZBBridge-P).
SmartThings Integration
With SmartThings, users have seamless control and insight over their smart home devices. Remotely control devices via the SmartThings app or voice commands, with enhanced energy efficiency provided by Matter technology. The switch handles loads up to 16A and is equipped with overload protection, ensuring safe operation in line with DIN EN60669 standards.
Energy Management
The SmartThings app provides energy usage data, allowing users to identify high-consumption devices and optimize usage. Users can track energy-saving targets and take control of their energy bills with the help of detailed insights provided by the app.
